Spartacus Legends will be free to download and fueled with a micro-transaction model. The new free-to-play model offers gamers an opportunity to jump right into the deadly battle arenas while ensuring play stays fair through a fame system the higher-tier the equipment that is available for purchase, the more fame that is necessary to use that equipment. The game features thousands of weapon combinations and a robust skill system with plenty of customization options. Spartacus Legends, which was announced back in July, allows players to experience "primeval gladiator moments" that take them from inside the ludos to the brutal battle arenas as they attempt to become a legend. It will also be released as a free-to-play title on PlayStation Network. It will be launching for Xbox LIVE Gold subscribers as part of the pilot free-to-play program on Xbox LIVE Arcade for Xbox 360.
